• ## House Rules — ELMA Resort

• We want you to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. Please help us care for the property and respect our neighbors.

• ### General Guidelines

• Smoking is not permitted inside the home.

• Observe the quiet hours listed in your reservation and keep music and conversations at a reasonable volume.

• Treat the furniture, equipment, and outdoor spaces with care. Please let us know promptly if anything is damaged or needs attention.

• When leaving the property, make sure all doors are securely locked.

• ### Waterfront Safety

• **The backyard has direct waterfront access, with no protective barrier along the seawall.**

• Children under 16 and pets must be supervised in the backyard and around the spa.

• Use caution near the water.

• ### Spa Use

• Follow the operating instructions located in the living room, beneath the TV.

• Keep the spa cover closed when not in use to maintain the temperature and prevent debris from entering.

• Use plastic cups only. Glass is not permitted in or around the spa.

• After your final use before checkout, lower the spa temperature to **83°F (approximately 28°C)**.

• ### Kayaks and Equipment

• Review the kayak launch instructions located beneath the living room TV.

• Wear a life jacket when kayaking. Life jackets are stored in the container next to the kayak stand.

• After use, return the kayaks and paddles to their designated stands and place the life jackets back in the storage container.

• ### Trash and Recycling

• Place trash and recyclables in the appropriate outdoor bins.

• Garbage collection takes place on **Wednesdays and Saturdays**. If your stay falls on these days, we would appreciate you moving the bins to the curb the night before.

• ### Before Checkout

• Take all trash and recycling to the outdoor bins.

• Gather used dishes and utensils and leave them in the sink or kitchen area.

• Return any kayak equipment you used and close the spa cover.

• Make sure all doors are securely locked. Our team will take care of the rest.
